Shiskine and Lyndale area

Give your views on plans to improve the areas around the blocks at Shiskine and Lyndale

Existing Area Plan

These plans show what it is like at the moment in the Shiskine and Lyndale area. At the moment there is a popular playarea next to the well-used Ledgowan Hall but all of the other areas between the blocks are poor quality and not well-used.

Proposed Improvements

These plans show proposed improvements in the Shiskine and Lyndale areas. The proposed improvements would create private communal areas at the bottom of each block just for the residents on the blocks. There is also a proposed 'village green' area where the blocks were demolished at Lyndale Place. The proposals also show moving Ledgowan Hall to a new location. There is also a new improved walking and cycling route going across the bottom of the hill from Ledgowan Place and Lyndale Road.
